Lytro’s light field camera technology could supercharge future iPhones. If you are interested in photography but haven’t heard of Lytro then its time to step out of the digital darkrrom. Lytro cause quite a stir when they published their white paper on an methodology of capturing light information in multiple points so post production can manipulate everythibg from focal point to depth of field. Well ArsTechnica have a story today examining the discussions between the late Steve Jobs and the Head of Lytro : Ren NG about the possible introduction of Lytro camera in a future iPhone…now that WOULD be interesting!
