Technology :: Tactus Technology. I picked this story up on twitter via @m_boesch and its pretty incredible.
http://www.tactustechnology.com/technology.html have a prototype of a transparent touch screen surface which will dynamically raise the surface to of the screen to create buttons while preserving the transparency. They say the product will be shipping by mid 2013. Just in time for the iPhone 5s launch
