A good friend and colleague – Ivor Carroll, brought this blog post from Nicolas Weil to my attention. “How to build your own TV Channel with Open-Source” (for nearly nothing should be appended to the title)

Its a brilliant examination of the open source software thats available and how with understanding and ingenuity it could be possible to build a 24/7 live channel for IPTV, OTT and DTT. I say could because Im not aware of anyone whos has achieved it but I have to say – looking at the roadmap and framework that Nic has proposed it probably is possible!
