This is a very interesting piece on how the presence of media (cameras) can influence the behavior of individuals in a conflict/riot situation and how the placement of the camera and composition of the shot frames or distorts the context.     A very powerful video – it’s so easy for us to sit back and mindlessly buy-in when being told the story of an event, particularly when the medium is photography. The camera never lies, but perhaps the photographer does.
