EEMOV “NANO” mobile phone stabiliser system is now shipping

EEMOV NANO. I have to confess I bought an Eemov Sobercam Hawk and was very happy with my purchase. Eemov seem to consistently deliver good quality products but at a fraction of the price of some of their main industry competitors.

Ive tested the Steadicam Smoothee and there is no question that it does harness the muscles in your arm to give it stability but I found keeping the camera pointing at your subject quite a task. The thing that intrigues me about the Eemov Nano is that in the demo images the guys thumb is effectively “steering” the gimbal – this could solve that wandering problem. Im waiting to see what price the Nano will retail at. Theres a big selection of “Steady” devices for mobiles out there and a big selection of prices to match so it will be interesting to see where Eemov have pitched this. Looking forward to getting my hands on this.

In Ireland the Eemov distributor is Broadcast Video Services

Hi Glen: is there anything like this for the iPad, do you know? I’m really keen to find some device to allow me to use the superior quality video capabilities of my iPad and something like this – but bigger – would be perfect!
